Every afternoon, our students enjoy grade-level Mandarin language instruction in the SWAN after-school program.  Most SWAN graduates achieve Mandarin language proficiency.

• Our students learn how to converse in Mandarin as well as how to read and write. Additionally, they participate in major cultural programs like the Lunar New Year student performances, Calligraphy Workshop, Singing Contest, Speech Contest, and more!
• Many of our students are winners of national and international speech and cultural competitions. They also serve as cultural ambassadors to China and Taiwan. Our students’ Chinese writings are frequently featured in the Chinese newspaper World Journal.
